College!
By Amyra Akhtar
‘Oh, my god.’
I woke up, my cell phone ringing.
‘Bubblegum, we’re going to..’
‘COLLEGE!!’
Hey, guys! It’s Bubblegum. And oh, my god, today I was going to COLLEGE!!
Me and my friends had been accepted into Starlight University, the best university in South Croydon!
I packed up my bags, and hugged my dad and older brother, Micheal, then headed outside to Jasper’s car.
He looked like a robot of some kind, because no way a human could be so perfect. His gorgeous blue eyes caught the sunlight, and his white hair was open and fell loosely in waves over his shoulders.
‘I look good, right?’ He smirked.
‘YESS!!! Er. Ahem. I mean, yes, you look like an accurate human of perfect shape and size, Jasper Collins.’
We both burst into fits of laughter, and then he kissed me.
‘Oh, let’s just go,’ I giggled sleepily.
I didn’t realise it, but I must have fallen asleep or something, because when I next opened my eyes, my head was on Jasper’s shoulder.
He must have not noticed me awake, and I pretended to be sleeping so I could enjoy the moment. But suddenly, his lips were on mine, and I kissed him back.
‘You can’t pretend with me, Bubble.’ He smiled. ‘We’re not here yet..wanna take a break?’
‘You bet.’ I smirked.
We ate at a fast-food restaurant, and talked and laughed. We headed to the car, and for a second he looked so terrifyingly handsome that I pulled him toward me and kissed him.
‘You look like a Greek god,’ I whispered. ‘You know?’
He smiled. ‘Yeah.’
I hugged him tight. ‘I love you,’ I whispered into his jacket.
‘Me too,’ he smiled.

We finally reached! I was so happy when I saw my friends. OMG! Mackenzie had packed, like, 900 pounds of designer luggage!!
We entered happily, the boys walking behind us, chatting.
As we saw the dorm list, it finally started to sink in.
‘OMG! OMG! US FOUR ARE IN THE SAME DORM!!’ I shrieked.
We headed inside. OMG, the room was GORGEOUS!! It had light blue walls, with two sets of lilac bunk-beds!
I was unpacking my books in the locker OUTSIDE our room, (YES! Outside the room were four adjoining lockers for us ONLY!) when suddenly, Lisa strutted up to me.
‘OMG! BUBBLEGUM?!’
‘Yes, Lisa.’ I muttered.
‘Ugh, your dumb friends are here too.’ She scoffed.
‘Lisa, look. If you’re jealous, I don’t care. You’ve made my live a LIVING HELL. But no! Not now! Sorry. if you’re so rich, go buy a new PERSONALITY, GIRLFRIEND!’
‘Ugh,’ She rolled her eyes. ‘Shut UP. I don’t care either, you know. So GET LOST!!’
‘OW!!’
