We Go To Rio – Part 2

Hey, Mackenzie here again!
We were in our hotel, an hour before our concert. Me and Lucia shared a room, whilst Bubblegum and Nature shared one adjoining ours with a door.
I was in the bathroom. I quickly slipped on my fishnet stockings, furry short skirt, black and white sequined top, black platform heels, and tied two ponytails on either side of my head, and left most of my hair open with it. I came out, and Lucia raved about my outfit. She had on a pair of designer jeans, and a pink shirt. Her long, blond hair was tied in a pretty braid secured with a pink tie.
Then came Bubblegum and Nature. Bubblegum wore fishnet stockings, like me, with super tiny shorts with long red frills falling down and at the back, with a matching red shirt covered with a denim off-shoulder jacket, paired with red platform sneakers. Nature stood beside her, wearing a denim jacket, a super short top underneath it, with very tight-fitting pants that looked like they were jeans, but were actually leggings, and stylish, tall light brown boots.
‘Guys!’ I gushed. ‘We ALL look gorgeous!’
‘LET’S ROCK!’ We all shouted together.
We made our way onto the stage, to find a billion people outside! OMG! THOSE many people?! I was practically SWEATING!!
But as we all stood together, I felt better. I was a part of a super cool band. I had the BEST friends EVER. And I was about to sing in front of a billion people in Rio de Janeiro!!
Nature strummed a soft chord on her guitar, and I began to sing.
‘Whoever falls, will rise again
Whoever cries, will laugh now and then
Wherever we stand
We are united
We are
FEARLESS!!
We can stand strong
Together we are one
No one really cares
But here we come
We’re FEARLESS, no matter what so
Rio, sing along!’
The crowd was singing and screaming. My heart raced. Lucia burst into her drum solo, and Bubblegum launched into her hip-hop choreography!
We finished, and the crowd went WILD. I mean, WILD!!
Tears streaked my face. This was the most beautiful moment of my life.
Nothing could ruin that!
