The Best Day Ever!

Hey y’all! I’m Lucia Locker, and this is my story. It all started when..
I was born in India, but had to shift to South Croydon at five years old.
But I made GREAT friends there! Like Nature, Mackenzie, and Bubblegum.
One day, I woke up, took a shower, and was brushing my hair into a braid, when I got a text from Mackenzie, my best friend.
Mackenzie- Hey, Luce!
Mackenzie- Guess what? A new guy is coming to our school! His name is Theo. U should meet him!
Mackenzie- 🥰👍🏻👉🏻👈🏻😍😘😚😋♥️♥️🤭😻
I smirked. A new guy? Time for some Lucia charm!
At school, I was near the lockers with Mackenzie, and we were looking on as Bubblegum rushed to catch up with Jasper, and a second later they kissed.
I giggled. ‘They’re the PERFECT couple!’
Mackenzie nodded, then poked me. ‘Here he comes!’
Quickly fixing my hair, I turned to Theo. He was REALLY cute!!
Blushing, I spoke up. ‘Hey! Are you new here? I’m Lucia Locker!’
He grinned. ‘Hey, Lucia! Yeah, I’m new here. What do you like to play as sport?’
‘Football, but tennis too,’ I said.
‘Oh, same!’
‘Cool!’ I blushed.
’So, hey..wanna walk to class together?’ He smiled.
‘Sure!’ I chirped.
Walking, we both cracked jokes and talked about school stuff. He was really easy to talk to..and yes, I had a crush on him!
After class, I was sitting in the cafeteria, chatting to my friends, when Theo walked over.
‘Hey, Lucia. Can we talk?’
‘Sure,’ I gulped.
He led me to the deserted hallway, and held my hand.
‘Lucia, you’re really funny and pretty, and I was wondering if you’d consider being my girlfriend?’
I gasped. ‘Of COURSE, Theo! I like you too!’
He hugged me, and then it was officially the best day ever.
When I told Nature, Mackenzie, and Bubblegum, they squealed.
‘OMG!’ Mackenzie giggled. ‘Now we ALL aren’t single! Yay!’ Nature laughed and whacked her on the head playfully.
It was truly perfect!
