The Undercover Student

CRYSTAL WOKE UP IN her queen-sized bed, admiring the beautiful weather.
It was the first day of Year Three at Dragon Academy, and she was super excited.
She grabbed her small suitcase, and slipped on her uniform- A Dragon Essence necklace, a blue-and-green blouse, and a purple stretchy pants with blue-and green patterned riding boots.
She took out Emerald, then ran out onto the big field where their black Ferrari stood.
“Oh, hi dad!” Squealed Crystal.
“Hi, Sugar. You ready to go?”
“Actually, dad, I was thinking…..can I ride Emerald to Dragon Academy? All my friends are!”
“Fine,” Sighed the King. “I guess.”
“Woo! Thanks, KING,” Teased Crystal.
She clambered onto Emerald, who hooted and flew in the direction. She grasped on tightly to the chains, and they flew over miles and miles of cornfield. Why was this taking so long?
Finally, they spotted Dragon Academy, and Emerald swooped toward The Riddle Gate.
She solved it, then took Emerald inside.
The ivy was clambering up the thick stone tower, which looked majestical against the deep blue Cornish sea. There were 4 towers, and she walked down the bustling hall, flowers and ivy climbers against the wall. She met Coral, Pearl, and Diamond, who were with Jasper, Coral’s dragon, Oyster, Pearl’s dragon, and Ruby, Diamond’s dragon.
As they talked, a girl walked in.
All eyes turned to her- She had long cream-coloured hair, with blue eyes and wore the uniform, but pinned colourful badges, hitched up the skirt, and wore heels.
HEELS!
Her name was Iris, and she was super pretty.
But very rude and bribing.
Miss Fire clacked up to her, demanding an explanation for “This hippy-hoppy nonsense.” But, to everyone’s surprise, Iris handed her a 500$ note!
“Young lady, you cannot-“ Miss Fire started, but Iris had already thrown 5000$ bills at her feet! The four girls gasped, and walked away, but Iris grasped them.
“Oh, you’re trying to get away? Not able to resist, huh?” She stuffed 60000$ bills in EACH of their hands!
“God, how loaded IS that girl?” Whispered Diamond quietly.
“Very!” Giggled Iris. She then ran into her dorm, and they stormed away.
Later that day, when it was their Riding lesson, they found Iris washing her hair!
“Ya know, Iris, this is a DRAGON ACADEMY,” Said Coral.
“Uh-huh.” She muttered.
They rolled her eyes, and went off. But, to Crystal’s surprise, Iris was stroking Emerald- And already climbing on her!
“GET OFF!” Yelled Crystal.
“Um, she’s MY dragon!” Iris quipped.
But she jumped off and got assigned with some dumb noob dragon.
As Crystal flew, one hand flew off the chains, and her legs flew out behind her, grasping onto ONE hoop with ONE arm!
The whole class kept laughing and laughing, and at one point Crystal cackled so hard that she fell off completely, landing back-first on the grass.
Mr. Draco was mad, but smiled all the same, biting his lip to keep him from laughing out loud.
Coral was cackling so much that tears spilled down her cheeks.
“Oh, your face as you held on for dear life onto poor Emerald!” She gasped for breath.
But Iris, of course, had to take the fun out of it.
“You looked SO stupid!”
Crystal gritted her teeth, then walked away. But, before lunch, she headed to the bathroom, and saw-
IRIS.
She was talking to someone on the phone.
“Yes. I got in!”
Another voice came on the line.
“Good. But, Iris, you’re not there to make friends. You need to get the Golden Dragon Gem home. You’re undercover here. That’s your mission. OK?”
“Loud ’n’ clear, Rose.”
ROSE?!
Crystal gasped, then sneaked out to lunch.
As she chewed her bacon, she rehashed everything to the three girls. Coral was so shocked, she actually spit her chocolate shake across the WHOLE CAFÉ!
“We gotta get to the Golden Dragon Gem!” She yelled. “NOW!”
As they suited up, they grabbed a rope, laser, and grappler, then headed to the Dragon’s Chambers.
They got out a master key, then snuck in. They positioned themselves at different spots, with Crystal sticking on the ceiling top, a grappler attached to a band on her wrist.
Just as they saw Iris sneak in, she pushed the button, and the grappler zoomed down, and grabbed the gem, but-
“Ow!” Whisper-shrieked Crystal.
Iris had grabbed the grappler rope, then tugged on it. Crystal jumped down.
“NO, CRYSTAL!” Coral whisper-yelled.
“YOU!” Yelled Iris. “I KNEW you’d be here. I SAW you in the bathroom! How DARE you eavesdrop on MY private conversations! I’m IRIS. NO-ONE EAVESDROPS ON IRIS!!!!!” She yelled.
“Oh, but are you, though?” Asked Crystal. “Yeah, that’s what I thought, Coco Steel!”
Everyone gasped, including Iris-well,-Coco.
“You’ll pay!”
Just then, Miss Fire came in, angry.
“ALL OF YOU!”
Everyone froze.
“Iris-Coco-I mean,- Diamond and Pearl came and told me everything. You will be expelled. This gem is priceless. But you are forbidden here. We will take away your power to see this place. It will be blocked by an invisible barrier, so even you can’t see it anymore!”
Iris walked out angrily, and the four girls cheered.
“Yay!” They cried. “GO, DRAGON ACADEMY!”
